Seeking Nightmare Stories

I'm seeking those would be interested in serving as part of my research on a book I am writing. The subject is Jobs From Hell. If you have a story you would like to share, please contact me at jill@survivingofficepolitics.com. I am really needing the deeply disturbing stories. For example, if your marriage is on the rocks because your job has become unbearable. If you've been fired after emotional abuse or sexual harrassment. If you are recovering from a job from hell, and don't know how to take your first step to recovery. I appreciate all the help I can get!

A Visionary He's Not

You wouldn't believe what I just went through at work. Two weeks ago I found out that this complete idiot I work with, not FOR, approached one of my direct report contractors, who I have worked with for over 10 years, and asked if he might want another position in the company. Problem was the new position still fell under my direct report. Idiot had no idea what he was requesting nor how it would be executed and that it would fall under my budget. This complete num nuts actually had approached the owner with this idea, with the owner having no idea it had actually gotten as far as an offer. This put me in a precarious situation. I loved the contractor, but how could I support this idea, that now actually came between a long standing relationship with the contractor and the Idiot. The owner came to me in the end and without throwing the contractor under the bus, I couldn't support an idea that had no plan, strategy, goal or objective mapped out to decide whether or not such an investment at this time would be a good idea. Thankfully the owner blew it off, but at WHAT COSTS?
